merry almost christmas!

last night cara and i took part in a hallowed christmas tradition: gazing at the presents under the tree. for quite a while we sat, looked, poked and speculated about what could possibly be in those beautifully wrapped boxes. it was fun. you might scoff at the fact that i'm nineteen - supposedly an "adult" - yet i'm still huddled by the presents two nights before christmas eve. and to you i say, pish posh!

and of course i realize that it's not just about the presents, but i'm not going to deny that the presents are still awfully fun. :)
