turduckhen

last night my friend lauren had a stretch-your-stomachs-out pre-thanksgiving party. it was glorious. the main course was what is commonly known as a "tur-duck-hen."

if you don't know what a turduckhen is, don't feel bad; i didn't either. allow me to explain. it's a chicken, stuffed inside a duck, stuffed inside a turkey. this particular turduckhen also had ground beef and spicy sausage in it. it was SO good. messy but good. (it's not quite finished cooking in this picture.)
i took lots and lots of silly silly pictures. this has to be very favorite picture of them all. it just cracks me up everytime i look at it. that is good stuff right there. and it's why i never take my finger off the camera button because i never never know what i'm going to get.
