Jazzer #1: Dude, I don't care about baseball.
Jazzer #2: You don't?
Jazzer #1: No, man. It's boring as [expletive deleted].
Jazzer #2: What are you, a communist?

and also, we don't need it.

"That seems redundant and unnecessary."

So said a student in my calculus class. He was complaining about having to write lim repeatedly in an equation. I don't blame him. I could really have used those two seconds to do something worthwhile.
